Ok this is for people interested in MS Windows and/or Linux high end monitor for a desktop.
I came across this fact: Monoprice is taking the LG made LCD panel for Appleās $999 Cinema Display and creating a 27" Dual Link DVI display ( thus this will not work on a Apple computer ). So for $390 you get a very good monitor which can be used for video and or image editing ( after proper calibration ) and get very good results. Thus this is for people working say with Blender and need to see a really accurate crisp display. My point is you don't need this for every day text editing, but this is a good find for anyone who works with visual media and has to work with people using high end expensive Apple computers. http://www.macworld.com/article/2012811/monoprice-to-introduce-high-end-led-display.html The link to the monitor: *27" IPS-ZERO-G Slim Monitor WQHD 2560x1440 - Dual Link DVI, VGA*<http://www.monoprice.com/Product/?c_id=113&cp_id=11307&cs_id=1130703&p_id=10509&seq=1&format=2> http://www.monoprice.com/Product?p_id=9579&format=2 -- Joe /** ** Joseph T Apuzzo ** GPFS SME (Linux, Windows, AIX), Linux LPI-c1 ** http://www.linkedin.com/in/japuzzo/ **/
