MHVLUG is proud to announce our July meeting:

Mad Science Fair IV

Come out for a night of show and tell on open hardware projects. Bring your Arduino, Beagle, Raspberry Pi, or other open hardware based project and show it off. Share experiences with others, and learn about all the amazing things you can do with these inexpensive open source platforms.

We'll have tables set up and do this science fair style, where people will roam around and check out projects by others. All levels of experience are welcome to present and participate.

To get you bootstrapped for this event, Squidwrench is going to be making Arduino a theme of their weekly Tuesday meetings.

The night's agenda will go as follows:

  • 5:00pm - setup - anyone that wants to show up early to help setup the room and their project is welcome
  • 6:00pm - Science fair open, go check out everyone's project
  • 8:00pm - retreat to Palace Diner for dinner, dessert, and further geekery

We hope to see you there!

The meeting space opens up at 5pm for pre meeting general discussion, question asking, show and tell, and setup. All are welcome to join. If you are planning on using the projector for your lightning talk, please arrive at 5:30 to ensure we can work out any kinks with the projector prior to the meeting.

The meeting will take place at Lourdes High School Auditorium on Wednesday, July 2nd at 6 pm.

All meetings are free and open to the public, and everyone from all levels of expertise and interest in Linux and Open Source Software are encouraged to attend (and bring a friend or two)! After each meeting ends everyone is welcome to join in on an informal dinner gathering at the Palace Diner on Washington St. This is a great opportunity to interact with members of the local Linux community, and a forum where questions and comments are strongly welcomed.

For more details, including maps and directions, please see the meeting page.

Show your support for MHVLUG by RSVPing at our Meetup Page.
