I run an A1200 with a Phase 5 50MHz 68060. 48 Megs Fast.
SCSI interface with YAM and AWeb cache on the SCSI buss.
I run YAM on my 640 x 512 x 256 Workbench.
I run AWeb 3.3 on a 640 x 512 x 256 screen ModePro'moted to Ham8.
I use Miami 3.2b with the internal serial port at 115200.
I connect to my ISP with V90 and almost always (starting) at 48000.
I regularly achieve 5200 cps download rates, balanced about 50/50
between AWeb and YAM when downloading mail and web pages together.
I do use FBlit for AWeb's benefit, and the CMQ060 patch.
Before I got my scandoubler/flickerfixer for my new VGA monitor I ran for a
few weeks in DblPAL mode. That ground the system down to about 1800cps
unless I ran <=8 colours on the frontmost screen.
I find my system very reliable, and never even had problems with the
pre-internal driver versions of Miami, using '060 version of 8n1.device.
I guess I'm just lucky.
