Hi,
I just got an x-surf card and I'm trying to get it
working in my a3000. My suspicion is that there I
have a defective x-surf board because after installing
it in a slot I can't seem to get Miami to see the
board. I've tried using the SANA-II driver as
specified in the docs that came with the card and also
the MNI driver that I just downloaded from Nordic
Global. In either case I get the message to the
effect that Miami cannot find the board.
The test program that comes on the x-surf driver
disk reports that it cannot find the board either.
The manufacturer and Product ID's mentioned in the
output of the test program are different than those
reported by the expansion board diagnostics on the
early boot menu.
All four zorro slots are taken. I have a Vlab
Motion, Toccata, Sunrize and the x-surf board. Is
there any way that the boards could be conflicting or
something?
Thanks in advance for any and all help.
Kurt Yamamoto
