Hi Sebastian,

If you insist on having the modem connected to the PC then you will
need to get software that supports IP-NAT or a SOCKS server for the
PC.

If you get IP-NAT software then setup the PC's ethernet card with an
private IP address such as 192.168.0.1 and the Amiga with
192.168.0.2, use a netmask of 255.255.255.0 whenever you need one.
Then set your Amiga gateway setting to be the PC and you should be in
business.

If you use the SOCKS method then configure the Miami Socks client as
detailed in the manual.

My preference and also my own setup here is to connect the modem to
the Amiga and purchase MiamiDx. That has both IP-NAT and Socks server
so you can get the PC to connect through there. Also you will have a
firewall and lot's of support from us on the mailing list.

Regards,

Soyeb
