It's just one of those things that drifts away a bit, they don't usually
go much beyond a couple of messages.
Some of us do use more than one platform, and it's handy to discuss the
dark side of the force, from time to time. It's useful to know, for
instance, why you're getting NetBIOS connection alerts, to your Amiga, and
to be able to know that they're not going to do anything to you.
Quite often we do network Amiga to PC; and all the problems we discuss
only talk about the PC, because that's the only machine that we can't get
to behave, without outside help.
Unfortunately trying to get useful help on the PC is very hard. Many
people don't understand it's workings. Some people who reckon they know
it all, will just tell you to re-install, until you get it to work. Ask
the same question on here, and you're likely to get an answer that just
involves correctly configuring one aspect of the stupid machine.
