Simply because your post sounded as if you had made a discovery of something
unusual and possibly unique to your machine. (use of the word "here" and the
exclamation point) Usually people point out caveats like that by saying
something like: "Make sure you have Miami running before you type the
command."
I believe both you and Tim were trying to be helpful, and that's what it's
about here anyway. :)
Tim pointed out the whys of that event and that it makes sense if you think
about it. And I don't think he was saying that YOU do or do not have common
sense, just that it is reasonably expected of the person who is trying to
troubleshoot thier system.
