Hi, Everybody --

This is a followup to an earlier e-mail that I sent to the list; I have more
consistent info now.

In brief: I'm using Miami 3.2b (Release 2, although I'm not sure how to
tell), Class Act interface, '020+ version, with an Ethernet card in my Ateo
Bus and a cable modem and Netgear router -- DHCP all around, SANA-II
interface to the ateonet.device driver.

If I launch Miami after a cold boot of my Amiga (towered A1200, with '060
CPU) and try to immediately go online, one of three things happens:

1) Miami searches for IP addresses for several seconds, then hangs.
2) Miami (or Miami Downtown) gurus immediately.
3) Miami appears to go online fine, but the next program I launch (e.g., YAM
or Voyager or AWeb) crashes Miami!

My workaround, after many days of hair pulling: for some bizarre reason, if
I launch YAM first after a cold boot, and then launch Miami and go online,
everything is fine. Miami is rock solid and performs flawlessly. I can even
repeatedly go online and offline with no trouble!

Any ideas? How would you even begin to track this problem down?? BTW, I
looked through the ML archives and couldn't find anything definitive.

One other question: on the Miami web site, the Miami Main archive is called
3.2b2, but the '020+ archive is still called 3.2b. Is that correct?

Oh, and finally, is Holger still accepting DX registrations? The
registration web server seems to be down.

Thanks for any help!

Steve
