Well, did you try accessing http://192.168.1.1 with a browser, like
IBrowse or Voyager?  You didn't mention that, and according to the
PDF version of their users manual (which should have come with it)
that is the default address assigned to the router, until you decide
to change it after accessing that page.  

I've got a SMC Barricade and it configures that same way, though mine
has the default of http://192.168.123.254 for it's address.
