In my view, the engine can run lean to the point of misfire and not
experience any damage.  I think the h20 temps will be okay.  If EGT goes up
an uncomfortable amount, add a tick of ignition advance.  If it knocks any,
back off throttle first, then retreat on the setting a bit.

Your engine temps will soar, EGTs will go up, and then you'll eventually
suffer damage.

Best advice is not to go TOO lean... Do you have an A/F gauge that will give
you numeric readings, rather than the light display?  The numeric reading is
much safer if the intent is to lean out.
