I just switched from hawk blues (very hard bite, worth about 3-4 weekends at
bfr, a notoriously tough track for brakes) to carbotechs.  I found the
carbotechs to have a much more gradual bite, much easier to modulate, and
that suits my slightly earlier braking style much better.

my dad is on cobalts, he sold me all his carbo's because he didnt like them.

2x the hp is one thing, but what are your average speeds compare with a spec
miata?  HP doesn't really mean much.
