It's a real simple unit. If the pressure switch is seeing boost (or almost boost, depending on how you set it) it runs the 02 signal through a voltage clamp that holds it down around .3 v. If in vacuum, signal bypasses the clamp. I would start by seeing if the hose blew off somewhere...

The car has been running fine but we got a P2195 at Deals Gap this weekend. Before I pull the modifier out and start testing I thought I would ask for suggestions. The modifier makes the signal lean but I am assuming that it is making it "too" lean or "lean too often" and that is what is throwing the code. I am not sure of the particulars of P2195 so I am not sure what it is calling "broken". FWIW, I do have a 2nd modifier to play with if this one is bad. -- Robert McElwee and Blue Flash "The 50 MPG Miata" www.lightweightmiata.com/blue Lightweight Miata Forum: www.lightweightmiata.com/forum The Miata Trailer Project: www.lightweightmiata.com/trailer
