companies have a huge demand to produce better and better product,
at the cost of billions in research dollars, why would they put in

So perhaps you think that healthcare is a right? Currently, as the
laws are written, it is not. Those that wish to male I a right,
change the laws, right an amendment, do something but don't
artificially tax it into law.
That leads to the next point. This country has turned into a gimme
state. You only deserve what you provide for youself. If you cannot
afford it, you shouldn't get it. With success comes rewards, ifyou
choose to succeed, you can choose to pay for health coverage. If
your job doesn't provide it, find one that does. If you don't have
the education for that job, get it. Don't relie on my hard work and
sweat for you can work part time and have full coverage. You even
said it, Jerry, that on many peoples budget, coverage comes last.
That is a choice that people have made. Let them choose their own
path. If you think a car payment is more important, fine, but don't
complain when you get sick and dot want to pay the 80 doctor visit
because you don't have coverage.
The answer to the problem is to allow companies to create plans that
people want. Stop the govt from mandating that everything under the
sun has to be covered in every plan and let me choose exactly what I
want to pay for. Let companies compete across state lines, let small
companies pool together to get discounts. Lastly, why don't we get
the govt to quit taking half my pay check and let me put MY money
where it needs to go.
