Figured I'd share this with the list since it's power oriented and IMO quite exciting. A friend of mine has been working on a true "open source" engine management system using inexpensive readily available hardware and, of course, the "free" code he's written (with the help/ input of others). I hooked up with him in Tampa right after he got his Volvo 740 running on the system and then drove it back to Atlanta via Daytona. Most of the code and hardware is beyond me but I did take part in getting the tune on via the tuning app which was incredibly easy to use. I know "our own" Abe has been involved in the project too. Personally I think this is going to be a BIG deal given it will really be the only TRUE open source engine management solution out there. - Rob
