OK. So all the problems from the “Fat Lady” email were being caused by a bad
crimp on the grey/red wire going to the MAF. So, I went out and test-drove the
car. Drives great, idles fine, no CELs, no DSC error lights.

I’m all happy that the car’s doing well and I pull into the alley behind my
house and as I go over the curb I gear a noise. I just chalked it up to a rock
in the alley or something...

Only, when I get back to the garage, there’s water leaking! From the radiator
near the lower radiator hose! (right side lower)

Since the NC is so jam-packed in that area, it’s hard to tell where the leak is
coming from, but I don’t think it’s a hose. The only coolant hose on that side
of the radiator that I disturbed was the one going to the remote resevoir, and
it’s not leaking from there...the leak is further down.

So I felt the lower rad hose....it’s not wet, and theres no running water on
it, even though it’s still leaking.

So, I can only conclude that something caused a failure in the radiator or
right where the lower hose meets it failed(where I can’t get my hand on
it)....So.. Now it looks like I have it pull the radiator to inspect it for
problems. Strangely enough, I never got close to the radiator while removing
the engine to have caused any damage, and I tested the car Saturday and
yesterday and had no leakage issues.

OY!
