I've always found that if the car has sat for a few weeks it's not
unreasonable to have to turn the key to on and wait for the pump to prime.
Did you or did you just turn to start right away?

after having my car sit 2 weeks when I went to start it this morning it
turned over several times before it finally started. on the road trip I had
intermittent missing at WOT.
