Jim, Keep lurking and get yourself a toy Miata. For $2K and some elbow grease, you can have a nice, sunny day play car. Tell yourself it's a safety net in case your DD gets hit or stolen. Plus, it's hard to lose any money on a car that cheap. If you change your mind, just sell it for what you have in it.
