Thanks Curtis! I'm totally geeked! Updates will follow, along with
plenty of FS posts sprinkled in as parts come off the car. :)

I've enjoyed the FC RX7's but they are so big and heavy compared to the
Miata and when I drive them back to back, it is grossly evident. The
power is sweet, the power top is nice, and I like the wind characteristics
of the 7 better, but it is heavy and feels very heavy driving it. Weighed
the Sub yesterday, full tank of gas, rollbar, FM2 kit, stereo gear with 2
amps and fiberglass sub box, Racing beat body kit and Simpson cowl hood it
came in at 2480 pounds without driver. Figure the LS swap adds 150-200
pounds, it's still going to be significantly lighter than the RX7 which
(FC convertible) is 3150 without driver with the LT1 in it.

It's going to be a journey, shopping for a plasma/TIG combo right now...

Wallyman,

That’s awesome! I’m so very happy for you and for the Sub. Please keep
us posted on the powerlist, even if it’s only a link to your threads on
ls1tech every now and then. Congrats and good luck.

Powered that is!

The entire drivetrain will be going up for sale as soon as I can get my
ducks in a row on it. Need to do a compression check before it gets
pulled, video tape it, and catalog all the mods since there is a lot and I
forget them all. So, if you know someone looking for a rock solid 225rwhp
1.6l FM2 turbo setup on a fairly built motor with 95% of the stuff needed
to make it complete (full exhaust, cooling system, water injection system,
tranny, diffy), this may be the thing for them. More details to follow as
I get it cataloged and figure out a price. Going to try and sell it
complete to start with, since all you really need is a fuel pump and a car
to stuff it into. If that doesn't go, I'll look at parting it out or
maybe buy a car and stuff it in there to sell (I hate that idea tho!)

This is what happens when you let me play with V8's and engine swaps. :)
