If you can't otherwise slide the outer boot clamps farther out on the left side I would try: Cutting the outer boot clamps off. See if it fixes your problem. If not, try another rack. If so: Turn the wheel all the way right. Compress the boot 90 or so % by hand and clamp with a hose worm clamp. Turn the wheel all the way left.
