Hey Ira, Grab a FireWire case for the drive and plop a FireWire card into your 8600--you'll be all set for mobile storage when you upgrade to that brand spanking new G5 in January. This'll cost you a little bit over $100 (shop http://dealmac.com) but it might be worth it if you have the spare cash.
