I'm Eric and I am a total Mac-Head living in Grand Rapids.
Hadn't ever tried to use Windoze until a year or so ago when
I changed jobs & found the new company dispensed their
training courses on Windows CD's. So naturally, I got
Virtual PC.

Current Computer Inventory:

2-Macintosh SE's.....one is 2/40
the other is my first Mac,
has passed through 4 family members--to me twice. Is now
                                  *technically* an SE/30,
20/230, with Micron Xceed (external greyscale only, sorry)
1-Macintosh SE/30, 8/230
1-Performa 476 (think Quadra 605)...currently out of
commission, since it donated it's floppy & hard drive
to my dual floppy SE when
it became an SE/30
1-PowerComputing PowerWave 132, 96/2gig, soon to be morphed
into something. Have 2 faster spare PCC processor cards
                                  sitting in the closet, as
well as a special case for it to move into.....when I have
the time....yeah, right.
1-PowerBook 1400c/G3-233 (Newer) 64/2gig...still my
traveling companion & workplace amusement...

And the Monster:
PowerComputing PowerTower Pro G3/500 (Powerlogix)
      416MB RAM (all still interleaved!)
      3 internal HD's: 9.1gig IBM Ultrastar, 18.2gig
Hitachi, OEM IBM 2gig
1 external HD: 4.3gig APS Quantum Fireball
      24X CD-ROM (Matshita-OEM)
      6416 Yamaha CD-RW (internal)
      Zip100 (internal-OEM)
All 6 PCI slots are currently filled: 2-USB cards
(one's going into the 'Wave soon), Keyspan Serial card,
Formac ProTV card,
Audiowerks 2 Audio capture card, &
NumberNine Revolution IV 32MB video card to feed the SGI
1600SW Flatpanel monitor.

(All in all, probably the most over-upgraded PTP.....it
just keeps wanting more...)

Oh yeah, and I do have a pair of NeXT Cubes. One is a
complete system, (which I have yet to mess with--haven't had
the time or space to set
it up!) The other will at some point be donating its case to
provide a new home for the PowerWave, or as it will be
called then, the NeXT Wave.
When I have the time.....If I was sure my boss wouldn't
mind, I'd just bring it in to work on at work when I have
idle time.

I also provide service & support for my mothers PowerCenter
Pro G3/420 (Powerlogix-overclocked). She's getting a new
18gig Ultrastar for her birthday (12/18) and a Radeon video
card for Christmas. I will be installing.......

Our whole family's nothing but Mac users. My brother in SF
was one of the original staffers for Macworld, used to
typeset the magazine on a DTP program on a Mac of course,
what model I'm not sure--he's now a graphic artist,
freelance....his current systems I have not a clue, but
they're all Macs. Brother in DC has 4 Macs...one for each
family member.

See Ya!
Eric
