Hi, All - I'm a Web producer in Ann Arbor, and I've recently started acting as technical director for the Neutral Zone, a non-profit teen club here in town. It's a very dynamic place, with a stage, a recording studio, a youth-owned record label, lots of concerts, and 28 summer programs.
They have a graphic designer volunteer who's setting up a design lab, and we want to be able to do video and DVDs, so we're going to be investing in some hardware. Mac all the way... It looks like the best bet is to go with a new G4 tower, but if anyone has another solution, I'll be happy to discuss it. If anyone has any info about cheap iMacs (other than U of M Property Disposition, where I'll be on Friday morning) I'd sure appreciate it also. <sales pitch> If anyone has anything they'd like to donate, like peripherals or usable Macs, you could get tax credits for the donation. </sales pitch> Thanks very much for the bandwidth. Please feel free to contact me directly.
