sorry if this double post but Ihave not recieved it. I reciently bought a usb/fw hd for my computers. the package stated it was cross platform. and I have set it up that way.
I had to partition the drive on a win 2k system and then format it on a mac using the dos format optition. it works great with windows what ever and mac os 8.6 - 9.1. one of my mac is deul boot os 9/os x and when ever I boot it into X and the drive is connected it wants to reformat the drive. does anyone know if there is a program that allows os x to read dos formated disks. that was one of the features of a mac that IMO made the os "better" then windoze. -Scotto [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx -- MichiMac is sponsored by Dan Knight of <http://lowendmac.com/>. / Buy books, CDs, videos, and more from Amazon.com \ / <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect-home/lowendmac> \ Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> MichiMac list info: <http://lowendmac.com/lists/michimac.html> Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/michimac%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Macintosh?
