You don't mention what system you're running. I'm guessing 8 or before, but I'm not up on what you can run on a Power Computing machine. I'd try first just copying the modem script to the modem scripts folder, which is located in the extensions folder in the system folder. Or in reverse order: System ->Extensions ->Modem Scripts. Then you should be able to select the script for your particular modem, which I believe will be in the Modem Control Panel.

Good luck. This is a bit of a guess from memory here, as I'm working in OSX here, but I figured it was better than nothing. :-)

Hi, old guy new to computers. I have a Power Computing Powerbase 180.
Have modem with cd loading instructions, where do you put the install
files, I now have them in "My Mac" file but the files won't open to
install. I read somewhere to put it in modem script file, but can't
seem to find any such file. Can I toss everything off the cd in
extension file or where?
