You can download Open Transport... http://www.eskimo.com/~pristine/ppp.html#otppp http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/91
or if you have the install discs from the computer, you should be able to install Open Transport from the system disc as well. What system are you running? I think in 8.5 and later you'll want remote access. Still should be able to install from the system disc.
If you need to download Remote Access, there's a link (ARA Client 3.1) toward the bottom of this page:
http://www.calicom.net/support/Install/85/Default.htm
This is also general instructions on setting it up. I think it should be pretty good up until the "Connect to the Network" part--This is specific for whatever university or ISP that this page is connected to.
Hope this helps.

I have a Power Computing Power Base 180. Just starting to play with computers. Have modem and software trying to get on internet. Instructions say to put files in modem scripts file or extensions. I couldn't find any modem script file so put them in extensions. tried to open a file and popup says can't read, need open transport. First question, could someone send me floppy or disc, for a fee, to download open transport, or could pick up if not to far. I live in Genesee Country area. Next question. Instructions say to go to control panel and open remote access setup. I can't find any such animal. Any help here?
