GWater, I have done what you said with Bobes, preload the libv4 and it still does not work.
By the way, I am using Ubuntu Intrepid 64bit and the Microsoft VX6000 cameral. When testing with mplayer, the video works fine, but not the audio by the way. But with Skype I see the device listed in the Skype options menu. I select the test button, but nothing happens, only a white test screen.
