Hi Joshua,

I have tried with /etc/init.d/akmods start (which is just a wrapper for
/usr/sbin/akmods --from-init) both on startup and manually, and by
running /usr/sbin/akmods (with --force where necessary).

I get the same result with 2 different kernels.
