if you want to make a package for your distro, those scripts are located here
http://repo.or.cz/w/pkgmicrodia.git

there are already packages available via Ubuntu PPA (search their site)

Also you need to get "libv4l" library to make apps like skype work correctly
(search for debian package name "libv4l-0")
