I have a HUE HD and I'm using Ubuntu 8.10. I followed the directions
to install the driver and got successful messages (download from git 9
March at about 4 AM UTC). If I use the test in the guide, I get an
ugly, choppy picture. If I open skype though, I got NOTHING. The
microphone works fine, but when I press "test" on the video settings
page in skype, it just goes blank.

dmesg | grep sn9c20x
[ 6767.718524] sn9c20x: SN9C20X USB 2.0 Webcam - 0C45:6282 plugged-in.

x11
The above command works... sort of. Picture's really blurry,
framerate is about 2 fps... i can actually count the frames.

What step have I missed on installing this?
