Hi all,

for a while I've been suffering from an annoying bug... I cannot dig
what's causing this problem, but at some point my webcam stops working
and I get hundred of these kind of messages in dmesg:

[55419.872940] sn9c20x: Read register failed 0x1005
[55419.874072] sn9c20x: Read register failed 0x1005
[55419.874333] sn9c20x: Read register failed 0x1005
[55419.874820] sn9c20x: Read register failed 0x1005
[55419.875322] sn9c20x: Read register failed 0x1005
[55419.875821] sn9c20x: Read register failed 0x1005
[55419.876326] sn9c20x: Read register failed 0x1005
[55419.876825] sn9c20x: Read register failed 0x1005
[55419.877327] sn9c20x: Read register failed 0x1005
[55419.877828] sn9c20x: Read register failed 0x1005
[55419.878205] sn9c20x: Read register failed 0x1005
[55419.878707] sn9c20x: Read register failed 0x1005
[55420.376206] sn9c20x: Read register failed 0x1005
[55420.376444] sn9c20x: Read register failed 0x1005

And sometimes, on shutdown these lines appear repeatedly and my
usplash is a bit messed-up... But, I've noticed one thing: if I run
Cheese, I get this in dmesg:

[55425.417113] sn9c20x: Write register failed index = 0x10FB
[55425.417610] sn9c20x: Read register failed 0x1005
[55425.419365] sn9c20x: Using yuv420 output format

And after that, my webcam works again...
Should I run Cheese in background to get my webcam working all the
time?! =D
I've noticed that this is a common bug... but, if you do, how do you
solved it?!
