I like the attitude.

Remember, microformats are sloppily extensible– you can always add more of your own semantic markup (which consuming agents should be able to ignore). Later, if enough people find it desirable, it can be incorporated into the format.

Besides, doesn't dtstart and dtend seem a little, well, cold?

Would RRULE be warmer? :D
