Thanks!  You know after I saw this I was able to find this[1] too,  which
ironically is a different list!

--- correct, those are pulled from various RFC, such as ATOM and others.

Without drilling down into them all, my memory was that none of them used
the <Link> element as it not visible; am I incorrect on that?

--- they are just defined for the rel attribute, so they can be used
on both the <link> and the <a>, but for microformats we are only
concerned with the visible data, and there for the rell attribute on
<a>
