Tara, That would be awesome. I have made a shy attempt at it (http://andr3.net/blog/post/104) but my screencasting skills are so very poor! I will leave it to the pros. It would be awesome to have something like those examples for microformats. (and non-english speaking folks) From my own experience, it's not enough to do a video demo. It should be engaging and interesting... so that it would circulate on blogs, emails, etc.
And Patrick, I would start with something along the lines of that video. Introduce the general concept, which is to bring out the data in the pages. It's not just "pages" anymore. We can extract pieces of relevant data from some of them... All you, the users, need to worry about is how you can use this to your advantage.
