Doug: If pressure will be increased by about 3 times and a fraction, water flow must be reduced about 1/3 for the same power generation. You can use only 1 or 2 nozzles with smaller orifice dia. instead of the actual 3. Runner must be chequed for resistence to greater income water velocity at nozzles.

I'm in a position to increase the pressure to 180psi, same water flow, and am wondering if I can still use the same Pelton wheel. Obviously I will have to change the nozzle size and also the gear ratio that drives my 1800rpm generator. --DBR [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] Does your company feature in the microhydro business directory at http://microhydropower.net/directory ?
