Subject: [microhydro] Hydro Power from a waterwheel

  Zoe

I was very interested to read your mail and would like to learn more about
your project. We have recently formed a charitable trust whose aims are to find
new uses for redundant old buildings by adapting them to generate renewable
energy, and our first project is the restoration of an old watermill in
Yorkshire including installing a full scale waterwheel to generate electricity.
(Up to about 15Kw). Please take a look at our web site for further details
www.rht.greenisp.org<http://www.rht.greenisp.org/>.
We are just about to start getting quotes for constructing the actual
waterwheel and would be interested in any particular design ideas that you may
have. Please give me a call to discuss how we could work together on this.

On a more general note if anyone knows of companies that can build
waterwheels in the UK, or would like to quote for one then please let me know.

  Best regards

  Dave Mann

  Dear Dave,
Please look at the links page on my site
http://WildWaterPower.com<http://wildwaterpower.com/>
It lists all of the US wheel manufacturers, including my design and one in
Briton and Germany.
Each manufacturer brings something different to the table.
