The type of turbine and controls that you may wish to include depends on whether the system grid-connected or off-grid? If it is grid connected you may want to consider pump-as-turbine, provided your rate of discharge does not vary much throughout the year. Pump-as-turbine are efficient and low cost, however part-flow efficiency is poor, for part-flow Francis are better.
