I've managed to track this down. It was Dec 1982, not 84. The library
only had B/W photocopier, so the pictures didn't come through very
good, but the missing text is now in the files area. After I
photocopied and read the missing pages I left the library. Upon
re-reading I noticed a companion story mentioned in Nov 82. I had the
opportunity to check the bound periodical archives at another library
today. Both articles had been torn out.
