Hi all,
I made a few designs and studies of large HPPs, and
now I am dealing with the mini hydro for the first
time.

What is a best way to estimate weight and cost of
electromechanical equipment for mini hydro (1-3 MW
range)?

I need to compare several potential sites (pelton,
francis and tubular units). I think i did ok with
selecting a turbine type, runner diameter and overall
dimensions, but how to estimate weights and costs on
pre-feasibility level?

Thanks a lot,
P.
