Dear member,

In the case of PV and Wind the input energy is uncertain. So we generally 
use MPPT to track the maximum power. But in the case of Micro-hydro, we 
generally instal such system where we ensure that there is minimum amount of 
water to generate power. So in this case the concept of MPPT doesnt arise.

I request members to correct me if my opinion is wrong.
