Coby: You have given data but at the same time you have expressed that you may not have the knowledge to fully understand or work with a Hydro system.
It is best for you if you define what your aims are, as well as, purpose. The water level and head gives and indication of about 260 KW if all 18.4 CFS are used. Also, you seem to indicate that you are looking for 50 KW -- AGAIN, nothing IS defined by you. And questioning the ballast and then asking for a "good" ballast / shunt load. You have said that you have the theoretical energy, so how much and how much you plan to harvest. ??? Clarify your ideas, nobody is trying to "steal" them from you, this is the best way for you to get the best response from the group members.
