He should be alright with 4" Sched. 40 PVC (NOT cell-core) and 
pressure fittings.  ASTM D1785 "Standard Specification for Poly(Vinyl 
Chloride) (PVC) Plastic Pipe, Schedules 40, 80, and 120" indidcated a 
maximum working pressure of 133psi with a burst pressure of 700 psi. 
Keep in mind that UV exposure will cause the pipe to become more 
brittle over time.
