The CalShare service is happy to announce that it will be enhancing the "Share" 
or "People Picker" functionality to now include the following.

    The ability to search for users based on multiple attributes. *attributes 
need to exist in Campus Active Directory
    The ability to send an email to users when sharing content or providing 
access to site content.

This work will take place on Saturday January 16th from 7AM -7PM.  More 
detailed information on the work can be found by following the link below

There will be outages to the production site during the maintenance window, 
however read access will be available on the Disaster Recovery Site.  More 
information on accessing the DR site and the production site can be found in 
the link above.
If you have users that require write access to CalShare during the maintenance 
window please send an email to 
cal_sh...@berkeley.edu<mailto:cal_sh...@berkeley.edu> with the URL to your 
site.  The CalShare Team will work to make the needed changes to your site 
collections a higher priority.
We also ask the you  pass along that CalShare will undergo maintenance on 
January 16th to your site collection users.
