*Programmer Analyst (4 positions)*
Location of assignment is Schenectady, NY (just outside of Albany, NY)
18+ months
*Mandatory Skills:*
1. Minimum of seven (7) years hands-on programming experience in
*server-side
Java web applications* in a multi-tier environment, including at least
one year of development experience in *JDK 1.5* or higher.
2. Minimum of five (5) years development experience in *Oracle database
design* and object creation/modification of Oracle databases consisting
of 20 or more tables, including at least one-year development experience in
*Oracle 10g*.
3. Minimum of five (5) years experience writing *Oracle queries and
PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers*, including
at least one year of development experience in *Oracle 10g*.
4. Minimum of *six (6) years* experience programming and developing *Java
J2EE applications*
5. Proficiency in speaking and comprehending the English language.
Effective communication skills, both oral and written, including experience
writing technical and user documentation and experience giving
presentations/training Personal interview will be used to determine if the
candidate satisfactorily meets qualification.
*DESIRABLE Experience* Listed in order of importance:
1. Experience working on a project team developing and implementing
large, complex Java web applications that use Java frameworks and an Oracle
database.
2. Hands-on experience coding JSP using CSS, JavaScript, and tag
libraries.
3. Experience writing Java programs using Eclipse or an Eclipse-based
IDE.
4. Experience writing Korn scripts that call Java programs and move files
via FTP.
5. Experience programming Java web applications for a health care
environment.
6. Experience creating UML diagrams and experience creating ERD with
Oracle Designer.
