Duration of the project March to Sept, 2009, onsite West point, PA.
7 to 8 years experience who can work independently. The existing application
is used by Field Reps and revamped with additional functionality and to be
deployed on a TabletPCs with 17" screens for Field Reps.
Current developing project should be in STRUTS 2.0 framework and they should
have strong knowledge on OGNL and TAGS .
The person must worked on Web Design technologies like CSS,XHTML and AJAX
and they are mainly concern on web designing task and not much on
programming tasks.
* Strong web design skills: HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver (to build web pages
and prototype screens),
* Good web development skills: Struts 2, JSP, Javascript, JQuery,
Java.
Job Description:
Web designer and Web developer for new release of Intranet Web-based
application (front end to a DB2 database).
Environment:
Struts 2 is the implementation framework
Java 5 is the language
JDBC is access to DB2 stored procs and (read only) access to
tables/views.
Eclipse is developer's IDE
Subversion is for software configuration management.
Tomcat 5.5 is the web server
Roles:
1. Web designer; 2. Web developer
Required skills:
Web design: XHTML; CSS; Javascript
Web development: HTML; CSS; Javascript (JQuery is a plus); Struts 2
(tags, OGNL, JSP, Sitemesh); Java 5;
(Plus) skills:
JDBC/SQL; XML; Ant; OpenDeploy; SOAP;
