The products include testing web based management software, network integration functions and client developed technologies to differentiate products in the market place. The candidate will work closely with software developers and architects during feature design to devise test strategies and use cases for acceptance testing. The candidate will be required to work on a small team as the primary QA representative for a feature. The candidate will write and implement software quality assurance plans, test strategies and test procedures, including transition from manual to automated environments. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* - Design, implement, execute and maintain systems and functional tests. - Create use cases for key features as part of the requirements/design phase of projects - Troubleshoot issues, determine workarounds and/or possible solutions to problems found during automation - Generate bug reports. - Develop test task lists and strategies to deliver products on schedule. - Have the ability to define/adjust assignments and meet schedules in a dynamic environment - Review user documentation to ensure that it accurately describes system functionality. - Participation in requirements and design reviews of new functionality. - Develop test strategies and plans for features based on requirement or design specifications. *KEY SKILLS* - *IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE LOCAL TO THE AREA MEANING: RI, CT, MA area* - Good technical and communication skills - *Experience testing network products required * - *MCSE or CCNA certification required * - Familiarity with scripting languages helpful - Ability to work independently and meet defined schedules *EDUCATION :* - *1-3 years SQA test experience * Linda Monalisa Aim Computer Consulting N.
