The work will be in support of statistical programming applications that are used to generate clinical study reports. You will be involved in the entire software development life cycle, and continue to support applications after implementation. Because of the clinical nature of the company, you will have to keep up to date with regulatory quality system requirements and statistical programming systems. You’ll support ADS and TLG generation, and assist with the development of work flow and SOPs for Biostatistics and Statistical Programming operations. What does it take to get this job? For starters, you need the right combination of computer science or business education along with pharmaceutical work experience. You need a Bachelor’s degree and at least six years of work experience, or a PhD and two years of experience, or some similar combination. Your work experience should include at least two years of technical leadership in a statistical programming environment in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment. You should also have knowledge of clinical trial methodology, GCP, and FDA regulations and guidelines, including 21 CFR Part 11.
