JOB: Upgrade to a product from Sunguard called Banner. Currently in Phase I-
Portal Development (data migrations, integration and reporting) scheduled to
be completed in October.
*Responsibilities:*
This candidate would be “backfilling” at corporate for 2 Unix Engineer
resources that have been pulled to lead another initiative. Responsibilities
include the following:
- Responsible for maintenance/support of Unix Environment
- Involvement in corporate “in house” projects, including 2 data center
moves working in conjunction with Unix leads, Networking team as well as
existing DBA’s/
- Data Center project includes 30-40 server builds ( cloning existing
), creating zones
*Must Have Skills:*
* *
- 5 years experience working as a Unix (Solaris- currently working with
v10) Admin
- 1-2 years experience working with Veritas net-backup, and file systems
(soon to be converting to clusters)
- Understanding of File management, memory utilization.
- Good Communication, professionalism, and good attitude while working
with team.
*Nice to Have Skills:*
- SAN experience, beneficial
- Experience working in an educational environment
