Job Description: The MEGA Architect maintains the content and integrity of data in the MEGA repository and understands the interrelationships between the various objects and characteristics in the MEGA meta-model. The MEGA Architect coordinates data transfers and integration to and from related systems, such as incident and change management, infrastructure change requests, and application development management tools. This is accomplished both through extracts from MEGA and importing data into MEGA. The MEGA Architect is skilled at creating reusable queries, descriptors, extracts, data maintenance, and interaction with the MEGA API as well as responding to ad-hoc data requests. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (software packages, soft skills, travel required, etc.): Possess knowledge of various technologies in both mainframe and enterprise/ distributed platforms Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Microsoft Visio MEGA (www.mega.com) skills Understanding of standard Meta model Ability to modify Meta Model Ability/experience with queries, descriptors, excel-loader, and MEGA Application Program Interface (API) Understanding of relational data modeling Experience maintaining MEGA content Experience creating diagrams, city planning object, package objects, queries, descriptors, macros, and data model objects in MEGA EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Engineering.
