Manual Refurbishment Process:: The Manual Refurbishment process,CPE U-Verse
Inventory, Zebra Printer Setup Process, Identification/Analysis of RF21/RF23
scan issues, & their impact on the system.



*Job Description:*



. Manual Refurbishment Process:: The Manual Refurbishment process involves
sending
Defective units (CPE) to OpTech from the Garages for repair. This process
stimulates the
RF21 and RF23 scans in the field. This process is implemented when the
RF21/RF23 scans
fail for a specific unit or have not been implemented for a Garage till yet.
This process
consists of ::
• Identification of duplicate units, invalid units, & NON OMS units.
• Identification of units of material number ‘600’ & conveying that
information to DC & scrapping teams.
• Identification /Analysis/ Processing of any Sub contracting PO’s
created/failed due to RF21 / RF23 scans, & updating of Equipment records.
• Identification /Analysis/ Processing of any STOs/Deliveries created/failed
during RF21 scans & updating the system with correct information.
• Analyzing and Updating the Equipments records with correct PO’s, Garage
ID’s, & Storage Locations.
• Processing of Tech Replace Orders & Customer Disconnect Orders.
• Identifying the list any retired units which need to be unretired.
• Adding/Moving stock to the correct Garage Id’s & Storage locations by
analyzing existing HU’s & storage locations.
• Creating Subcontracting PO’s, working on any fallouts due to insufficient
Stock / Equipment update failures, and analysis/fixing of Equipment records
for any OMS / Activation issues.
• Communicating with DC’s to update them about the unprocessed / processed
units.

2. CPE U-Verse Inventory: The CPE U-Verse inventory is conducted four times
a year. This
involves providing training, & support to Managers/Garage
managers/Technicians/ , &
addressing of post inventory issues. The process consists of :
• Providing training to Garage managers/Technicians for the Inventory &
making sure they have the necessary tools to perform the Inventory.
• Providing support to Business Teams (California & South East regions)
regarding number of Garages to be inventoried, their status & maintaining
their storage location counts.
• Providing system support to Garage Managers/Technicians on the day of the
Inventory.
• Analysis of CPE Inventory results.
• Providing support to IT & Business teams for post Inventory activities.
• Providing support to the Garages for post Inventory issues.

3. Zebra Printer Setup Process: The mechanized process involves setup of
Zebra printer
across all the Garages so that the Garages can perform RF21 scan. This
involves:
• Communicating with the Garages to ensure that they have the Zebra printer,
supplies & LAN connection.
• Providing support to the Garages to setup the Zebra printer & analyzing
their failures
• Providing post setup support to the Garages.

4. Identification/Analysis of RF21/RF23 scan issues, & their impact on the
system.
