Position: PHP Developer Location: Kirkland - WA Est. Duration: 6 months+ Rate: $35/hr all incl Start: ASAP The developer would be responsible for developing software according to specification and standards for a packaged software application. The software developer will be responsible for implementing new customer requirements into the software package, and integrating successfully across all functional modules. The software developer will work with the other development team members to implement software changes. Technical experience is required, and domain knowledge within the functional components is a plus. Education/ Work experience requirements: Bachelor degree or equivalent. Web development experience in PHP is required. Heavy backend integration experience required. Object Oriented Programming experience in PHP5 is required. In depth SQL knowledge is required. Experience working in a team environment, making use of a revision control system such as CVS or Subversion. Working knowledge of Linux is highly desirable. Test Driven development experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Strong skills in web application components such as PHP, SOAP, Tomcat, Struts, JSP's, and MySQL. Experience with WebServices. Desired Skills: Experience developing scalable software in a multiple-server environment is highly desirable. Experience developing in a Service Oriented Architecture is a plus. Experience with caching techniques and products such as APC, eAccelerator, memcached are a plus. Experience using the Eclipse (PDT) IDE is a plus. NOTE: This is a not a new position. We have closed five and need two more.
